We encourage you to carefully review the information in this guide as you consider using Camp Del Oro. If you decide our missions are not in conflict and you would like to use our site for your retreat, we invite you to tour our camp. We will ask for some information telling us about your group; for example, the nature of your visit, a brochure, mission statement, and general background information.
Steps for Reservations:
1. Your retreat dates will be is held for three weeks (21 days) from the date the site use agreement is issued. To reserve the dates you requested please return:
• Signed Site Use Agreement
• Deposit— listed on your Site Use Agreement
• Certificate of Insurance
If the agreement, deposit and certificate of insurance are not received within the specified time, The Salvation Army retains the right to make those reserved dates available to other groups.
2. After receiving your contract the documents will be submitted to our Divisional Headquarters for approval. Once approved, a signed copy will be sent to you confirming your dates, fees, lodging, meeting rooms and minimum number of participants.
3. One month prior to your stay at Camp Del Oro, we will contact you to obtain a conference schedule and your specific needs, such as room set up, audio visual, etc.
4. One week prior to your arrival, we contact you to obtain the final number of participants you expect. This is very important as this is the basis for your total fee.
