Directions

From Reno: Take I-80 west toward Sacramento.  Exit onto Highway 20 to Nevada City.  Turn right onto Highway 49 toward Downieville and follow instructions below. **

From Sacramento:  Take I-80 east to Auburn.  In Auburn, take the Grass Valley Hwy 49 exit. Turn left at the light.  Continue on Highway 49 through Auburn and Grass Valley. In Nevada City, get in the left lane.  It will become a left turn only lane. Turn left at the sign for Downieville and follow the directions below. **

**Turn right on North Bloomfield Road. North Bloomfield will “T” after about a 1/2 mile.  Take Lake Vera/Purdon Road to the left.  Turn right on Rock Creek Road.  At “Y” veer left onto Rector Road.  Camp Del Oro entrance is on left just before the one lane bridge. 

Please be careful when driving on Rector Road.  This is a one-lane road through a residential area.  Please drive slowly—the speed limit is 15 miles per hour.  It is very helpful to carpool whenever possible.

Please call the office if you are driving an RV to camp.  We will give you the directions to our other entrance where the RV’s are parked.

Please DO NOT use Map Quest or any other internet directions.  They WILL get you lost.  Cell phones do not work past North Bloomfield Road.
